There are literally hundreds of different ways that garden
landscaping is used all over the world. Below we will discuss
a couple of ways that you may not have thought of. These will
just allow you to think outside the box a little when you are
next thinking of improving your own garden.

The first is for people who may have a small swimming pool
in their backyard which they don’t use anymore. This could
make an awesome feature. You could easily convert it into
a small garden patio area. Simply by adding different levels
to the pool would make a great feature. You could also add
flagstones, so it wouldn’t look like a swimming pool at all.
It would be your own little garden hideaway!

Another idea you could implement is to encourage wildlife into
your garden as much as you possibly can. You can bring in many
different species of birds by simply installing a bird bath
or by placing food in trees or large bushes. Nuts and seeds are a
favorite of most birds and these can be purchased ready made
into large balls, so you can just hang them immediately in
your garden. You will attract some fantastic looking birds
which you can watch for hours.

They will be attracted by the food and also will be able to
wash and drink the water in the bird bath. Once a few birds
find the comfort in your garden, it won’t take long before
they’ll be many others. Depending on where in the world you
live, you may even be able to attract some squirrels too. Who
will visit and carry away some nuts for the winter. If you do
manage to attract squirrels, just be aware that once they
start to take away the nuts they generally won’t stop until
all of them have gone. So make sure the birds have something
to nibble on where the squirrels can’t get to.
